Cathay Pacific Airways Appoints Abhijit Abhyankar As Regional Head of People

Cathay Pacific Airways has appointed Abhijit Abhyankar as its Regional Head of People for South Asia, Middle East and Africa (SAMEA).

 

He will be stationed at Mumbai and responsible for Human Resource strategy and execution, internal stakeholder management and collaboration, talent management and succession planning, employee engagement, people cost budgeting and business continuity.

 

Abhyankar has more than 21 years of experience in the hospitality and aviation sector.

 

On his appointment, Abhyankar said “It has been a real honour for me to be appointed to this position. At Cathay Pacific we believe our employees are the key drivers of our business. We aim to provide our people with an environment in which they are able to flourish with us.
