IIT- Delhi Phase 1 Placement Drive: Students Get 925+ Job Offers 

During phase 1 of virtual placement, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi students have received more than 925 job offers on 250+ job profiles from 200+ companies including pre-placement offers (PPOs) to the graduating batch of 2020-21.

 

More than 20 selections were received for international profiles and the international students found placements in Japan, Middle East, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan, among others. “Many companies with multi-national operations have currently offered students for domestic roles. These may convert to international offers depending on the situation,” said an official statement.

 

Reports state that around 90 per cent of the students received offers in their core sectors. Reportedly, 400+ organisations across sectors offering 675+ job profiles have registered for hiring the students. The placement drive will continue till May 2021 and many recruiters are expected to recruit students.

 

In terms of the number of students hired, the top recruiters on the campus include Microsoft, Intel, Oracle, Tata Projects, EXL Services, ICICI Bank, Goldman Sachs, HCL, Wells Fargo, and IQVIA.

 

The hiring processes for the session were conducted in a virtual mode due to the pandemic and the efforts of the staff, student coordinators, and volunteers with the industry players resulted in a seamless virtual selection process.
