Lifestyle International has elevated Kabir Lumba to the post of chairman of its board of directors. Lumba will be taking over from Ramanathan Hariharan, who will be retiring from his position in March 2021. Lumba will be assuming his new role on April 1, 2021.
The Middle East retail-to-hospitality conglomerate Landmark Group said, “Mr. Lumba will also transitioning to become the CEO of Landmark Retail Middle East.”
Hariharan has been a Lifestyle veteran for 27 years.
The statement said, “Mr. Ramanathan has been instrumental in building market leading brands across multiple geographies; from the Middle East to India and South East Asia.” Lumba had led the Lifestyle, Home Centre businesses in India for more than a decade, later taking over the role of CEO, Max Middle East in 2018 and now the CEO of Landmark Group.
