Harvard Business School Appoints Indian-origin Srikant Datar as Dean
Harvard Business School (HBS) has appointed Indian-origin academician Srikant Datar as its Dean.
He is the Arthur Lowes Dickinson Professor of Business Administration and the Senior Associate Dean for University Affairs at HBS.
Succeeding Nitin Nohria. Datar becomes the second consecutive dean hailing from India to head the prestigious institution.
Harvard University President Larry Bacow announced that Datar will assume charge as the school’s next dean on January 1.
Datar is an alumnus of University of Bombay and Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
